At Eketahuna Country Meats we uphold the highest standard of quality with every purchase. Our personal guarantee means you can purchase our meat with confidence. In most cases we have cared for the meat from birth. If you are not happy with any product you receive from Eketahuna Country Meats please contact us and we will work quickly to remedy any concerns you have. This could result in replacement of the product, or a credit to your account. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the product if after 24 hours from the delivery of your product we will be unable to replace or credit the goods.

The following terms & conditions outline the use of the Eketahuna Country Meats website including all shopping at Eketahuna Country Meats. These terms & conditions can be accessed at the bottom of any of the Eketahuna Country Meats website pages.

Orders And Payment

All Eketahuna Country Meats products can be purchased using secure online MasterCard and Visa transaction facilities. We are confident that your online details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and will not be used for any other purpose than Eketahuna Country Meats transactions.

When you purchase from Eketahuna Country Meats, you will be asked to register your details with us. Please click on the 'General Newsletter' tick box which will enable you to receive our Newsletters with updates and notices regarding delivery to your area or information about a product you have ordered etc.  

Price And Delivery

Our prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

Delivery time

Our deliveries to the Wairarapa, Wellington, Kapiti Coast, Palmerston North, Levin, Foxton and Foxton Beach area are made once a week on a selected day and will be delivered between the hours of 10.00pm (on the eve of your delivery day) and 8.00am (on your delivery day). Once you log onto our website with your address you will be informed as to your selected delivery day. If you need a delivery on a specific day outside of your allocated delivery day then please get in touch and we will try to organise a courier to deliver for you (there will be courier charges for this service though).

The rest of the North Island have delivery days of Wednesday and Friday and South Island will be dispatched on a Wednesday night and delivered on Thursday morning by our preferred courier for your area.

Delays

If your delivery is delayed do to unavailability, we will advise you as soon as we discover the delay and tell you of the expected delivery date. If we can’t deliver your order within a fortnight from the time we receive your order, we will gladly cancel your order.

Quality And Quantity Commitment

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you are unhappy with our products or you do not receive the products you expected, we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. If the issue can’t be resolved, we will happily refund the purchase price paid.

While we have made every endeavor to cut the meat to exact pack sizes there will be some variation due to every animal being different. The composition of the mixed packs may differ slightly from the advertised schedule but the total weight or value of the pack will be at least that of the advertised product.

The individual pack sizes will be within 10% of the advertised weight when packed.

Any refunds will be credited back onto your account with us.

If you do have any complaints, we appreciate hearing about them as soon as possible.

If the product or packaging has been damaged in transit the best before date will become invalid and the meat should be consumed as soon as possible or frozen.

aCCOUNT PAYMENT
Due to the nature of payment after delivery we will follow a strict policy of using a third party for debt collection. In the first instance we will of course attempt to contact you and sort a payment plan. In the circumstances you refuse to pay for your products received, or do not reply to any correspondence by Eketahuna Country Meats staff, your debt will be referred to a debt collection agency and any associated costs incurred will be added to the registered customers outstanding invoice.
